Scheinblum, P.A. is a business law firm located in Winter Park, Florida.  The firm handles sophisticated corporate legal transactions in numerous practice areas including business formations, corporate maintenance, venture capital and private equity financing, technology commercialization and licensing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, business contracts, and hospitality transactions

The firm focuses on more than just transactional representation and disputes. Many clients also need counsel on ongoing strategic matters, where legal services are best delivered in the context of a client's overall business planning. The firm works with its clients to develop overall, cohesive strategies for their legal and business needs. That includes drafting business plans and strategic plans, and helping clients turn those plans into living documents, rather than something to be set aside once completed.   
By working closely with the client and becoming intimately familiar with its business and goals, combined with the practical experience of having been both in-house counsel and an entrepreneur who understands the specific needs of a client, the firm is uniquely suited to act as outside general counsel to its clients. The firm understands that addressing the "day-to-day issues" that arise when running a business may be just as important as the once-in-a-lifetime events like a major acquisition.

As a boutique law firm, Mark D. Scheinblum, P.A. doesn't need to subsidize the training of associates or other practice groups. The firm is proud to provide sophisticated legal services at reasonable rates. The firm also has the flexibility to provide outside general counsel services using alternative fee arrangements in order to provide greater expense certainty and accurate budgeting, providing clients with the confidence to plan ahead and achieve their goals.

Firm Founder

Mark Scheinblum is in his third decade as a corporate and business lawyer. Before founding the firm, Mark practiced law with some of the preeminent firms in New York City and Central Florida, and as in-house counsel to a technology incubation and commercialization firm and its numerous start-up ventures. 

Mark's law practice focuses on corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and venture capital. He has been active in the structuring, formation and capital-raising of numerous business entities, the acquisition and sale of successful businesses, the negotiation of strategic joint ventures, and the licensing of intellectual property and other rights. His clients have ranged from businesses started in a garage to some of the world's largest international corporations. He also has significant experience with real estate and hospitality ventures. He has lectured on licensing, capital raising, the duties of corporate officers and directors, and legal ethics in mergers and acquisitions. 

Mark has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of Corporate Law and Securities / Capital Markets Law since 2010. He was recently named the Best Lawyers' 2020 Orlando Corporate Law "Lawyer of the Year." Mark was previously named the Best Lawyers'  2018 Orlando Securities / Capital Markets Law "Lawyer of the Year" and the Best Lawyers' 2013 Orlando Securities / Capital Markets Law "Lawyer of the Year."
